Eric N. JacobsonEric Jacobson currently holds the position of Executive Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for SRS Distribution. Eric is a seasoned executive with more than 26 years of experience leading, managing and administering all facets of human resources within either a corporate Human Resources Department or Employee Benefit / Human Resource Consulting Firm. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in human resources, mergers & acquisitions, small / large scale start-ups as well as system design & implementation.

Prior to joining the SRS team, Eric held the position of Executive Vice President, Human Resources for Invitation Homes (NYSE: INVH). He was responsible for designing, staffing, deploying and overseeing the day-to-day administration of the Human Resources, Administrative Services, Facilities Management and Corporate Real Estate platforms for this $12 billion start-up that went public on Feb. 1, 2017. Invitation Homes (Blackstone Group LP – Portfolio Company) owns and manages approximately 50,000 single family homes throughout the United States.

Prior to joining Invitation Homes, Eric held the position of Managing Director, Human Resources for Greystar Real Estate Partners, LLC, the largest multi-family third party management company in the sector. While at Greystar, he was instrumental in redesigning and redeploying the human resources platform to support the company’s aggressive growth strategy. This was accomplished by leading multiple project teams responsible for implementing new systems as well as developing new processes and procedures to leverage existing / new technology.

Prior to joining Greystar, Eric also held the position of Senior Vice President, Human Resources & Administrative Services for JPI Partners, LLC, a top multi-family real estate development, construction & property management company with approximately 2,600 employees located throughout the U.S. and Canada. During his nine-year tenure with JPI Partners, LLC, he held several positions. In 2001, he joined the company as Director, Employee Relations and quickly elevated through the ranks to become the Operations Leader responsible for providing leadership to the following Shared Services’ Teams: Human Resource / Payroll Services, Technology Services, Facilities Management Services, Corporate Communications & Training Services & Marketing Services. During his tenure, Eric changed the way JPI Partners, LLC viewed the Human Resource function and quickly earned a “Seat at The Table” as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
